Short Introduction of Foshan Square Shape Cement Mosaic
A square cement mosaic typically refers to a type of decorative flooring or wall finish made from cement tiles arranged in a mosaic pattern. Here’s a breakdown of what this involves:
-Material: Cement tiles are made from a mixture of cement, sand, and pigments. They are highly durable and have a natural matte finish.
-Size: The tiles are usually square, with common sizes being 8x8 inches, 12x12 inches, or other custom dimensions.
-Design: A mosaic pattern is created by arranging tiles in a repetitive or intricate design. This can include geometric shapes, floral patterns, or abstract designs.
-Color: Cement tiles come in various colors and can be combined to create colorful and vibrant patterns. The pigments used are often very rich, leading to bold and striking designs.

How can I cut tiles?
If you are planning on carrying out the work yourself, then both ceramic and glass mosaics can be cut in much the same way but you will need a special cutter or at the very least, a scribe and tungsten tipped pliers. We recommend using eye protection and possibly wearing thin gloves when attempting to cut tiles as glass and ceramic shards can be dangerous. Alternatively, it is possible to hire an electric cutter which uses water for cooling the blade but obviously this is not always possible with small mosaics.
If your budget permits, we would recommend using a professional tile fixer who will have all the right tools and equipment and the necessary experience.
